Samarth Shikshan Sanstha Lakhani, Dist. Bhandara
Samarth Mahavidyalaya was established in 1964 and is run by the Rashtriya Shikshan Sanstha, Lakhani, founded before the independence of India in 1941. Our founder, Late Shikshan Maharshi Bapusaheb Lakhanikar, was a great patriot and major social worker.
Today the college is advancing successfully towards the Platinum Jubilee year. With Arts, Commerce and Science faculties, approximately 1,500 students are pursuing education here. The college is accredited twice by NAAC with Grade 'B' (CGPA 2.57) and is working towards achieving Grade 'A' in the Third Cycle.
Lakhani is situated in Maharashtra State. The district place is Bhandara and is on National Highway No. 6. Popularly known as the "Pune of Vidarbha". The orange city Nagpur is only 80 km away.
